1. Nature of the Service and Content Disclaimer

StreamAlt is strictly a media player application and playlist manager for mobile devices, Smart TVs, and media players.

We do not host or distribute content: StreamAlt does not provide, sell, host, or distribute any type of media content, live TV channels, streams, or playlists.

User responsibility: The user is solely responsible for the content they add or play within the application (via M3U links, Xtream Codes credentials, EPG guides, or local files).

Local storage: All information regarding your playlists, credentials, and user preferences is stored solely locally on your device memory. StreamAlt does not transmit or store your lists or credentials on any external server managed by us.

2. Information Collection and Use

StreamAlt does not request or collect directly identifiable personal data such as your full name, physical address, phone number, or email address in order to use the application.

However, to ensure app stability and provide a better experience, we automatically collect certain non identifiable technical information through third party tools:

Log Data and Errors: When an error or unexpected crash occurs in the application, technical data is collected, such as device brand and model, operating system version, time and date of the event, app status, and IP address. This data is used solely to diagnose and fix technical issues.

Device Identifiers: We collect the advertising identifier assigned by your operating system (Advertising ID) in order to perform anonymous statistical analysis and manage ad delivery within the app.

3. Third Party Services

StreamAlt uses third party service providers that may collect information used to identify you in a pseudonymous or anonymous manner. We suggest reviewing the privacy policies of each provider:

• Google Play Services
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Google AdMob

4. Advertising and User Choices

To maintain the service, StreamAlt may display advertisements served by commercial partners.

Personalized Ads: Depending on your preferences and the laws of your region, ad providers may use your device advertising identifier to show ads based on your interests.

Non Personalized Ads: If you choose to disable personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your profile or browsing habits.

User Control: You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time by accessing your device settings or through the privacy settings panel within StreamAlt.

5. Local Storage and Cookies

StreamAlt does not explicitly use web cookies. However, third party code libraries incorporated into the app may use local storage technologies to collect anonymous technical information.

Your channel lists, favorites, and settings always remain stored in your device internal storage.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 depending on the local laws of your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete such information.

7. User Rights (GDPR and CCPA)
